About Macmillan

Macmillan Cancer Support is a UK-based charity dedicated to helping people living with cancer and their families navigate every stage of the journey. They provide practical, emotional, and financial support—from specialist nurses and therapists to helplines, information services, and grants that ease the financial strain of treatment. Macmillan also campaigns for better cancer care across the country, working to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Their work focuses not only on medical needs, but also on improving quality of life, offering guidance, community resources, and compassionate support tailored to each person’s individual circumstances.

I have received a great deal of support from Macmillan in various ways and I hope that this way I can give a little something back to them to continue their good work supporting individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis.
